SUMMARY
When opening a folder with the “Open With” option in KDE, the application is not added to the list, and already added applications cannot be removed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Open a folder or file using the “Open With” option. If the “Always use this application” option is **not** checked, the application is not added to the “Open With” list.
2. Applications that were previously added cannot be removed from the list.
3. This is technically not a bug, but a **missing feature**. Additional settings could be added to the area shown in the attached screenshot to allow adding and removing applications.

OBSERVED RESULT

* Applications are added to the list only if “Always use this application” is checked.
* If it is not checked, the application is not added.
* Applications that were previously added cannot be removed easily.

EXPECTED RESULT

* Users should be able to manually **add and remove applications** from the “Open With” list.
* Managing the list should be simple and accessible.
* This would allow users to better control file associations.
