Description Dan Dascalescu 2025-10-23 23:19:54 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click Recording
2. Click Full Screen

OBSERVED RESULT
At this point, a crosshair appears. To users who've never used full-screen recording, but only "Rectangular Region"s, this may be confusing. It took me a bit to realize I was supposed to click **which screen** I wanted to record. Users with only one screen will be further confused.

EXPECTED RESULT
Spectacle should not display the crosshair if there's only one screen (unless it means to record a Virtual Desktop rather?), and/or should display a clearer prompt, like "Click the screen you want to record".
