SUMMARY The keyboard is no longer read properly if you open DaVinci Resolve and you happen to have a Global Menu on your panel. I believe this is an issue with the way shortcuts work. This is an issue that affects the entire usability of the computer, even if you minimize DaVinci Resolve, none of the keys on the keyboard function as expected, and while in DaVinci Resolve, it seems to be interpreting the entire keyboard as shortcut keys, so I can hide clips and stuff but I can't type in text, use modifier keys (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Tab, Super), arrow keys, essentially nothing works as intended. This happens to applications outside of DaVinci Resolve as well, as long as I have the editor open. However, this issue does not happen if the current screen DaVinci Resolve opens on does not have a global menu, or if it is nonexistent, at which point DaVinci Resolve displays its own appmenu inside the editor. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have a Global Menu on a panel 2. Launch DaVinci Resolve 3. Try to use the keyboard at all OBSERVED RESULT The keyboard no longer functions properly EXPECTED RESULT The keyboard work as expected SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250827 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 Kernel Version: 6.16.3-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12450HX Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.3 GiB usable) Graphics Processor 1: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics Graphics Processor 2: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB Laptop GPU/PCIe/SSE2 Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 83ME System Version: LOQ 15IAX9E ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DaVinci Resolve was installed using the official installer from Blackmagic.
