SUMMARY KIO GDrive is a plugin that attaches Google Drive stuff into Dolphin. Google Drive is an existing separate primary product, with its own official translation that's known to its users. The KDE translation, just like English original, needs 1:1 matching with the original product, to avoid user confusion. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add Google account to KAccounts and mount a Google drive with KIO GDrive 2. Open it 3. See confusingly named folders in its root OBSERVED RESULT "Shared Drives" → "Współdzielone urządzenia" "Shared With Me" → "Udostępnione mi" "Can't delete Shared Drives root." → "Nie można usunąć katalogu głównego współdzielonych urządzeń." "Upload to folder:" → "Wyślij do katalogu:" EXPECTED RESULT "Shared Drives" → "Dyski współdzielone" (!!! – don't be tempted to swap the order of words, as the eyes will look for a folder name starting with "Dyski") "Shared With Me" → "Udostępnione dla mnie" (maybe it sounds like Podlasie dialect, but that's the string they use, so that's what the user will look for) "Can't delete Shared Drives root." → "Nie można usunąć katalogu głównego dysków współdzielonych." "Upload to folder:" → "Wyślij do folderu:" (this one is a bit 50/50, Plasma consistently uses "katalog", but we are uploading to "folder" in the destination and its UI quite evidently on the other hand; but this one won't hurt usability if you keep it "katalog", unlike others) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Especially misleading is translating Shared Drives as "Współdzielone urządzenia", because a drive is a concrete concept in Google Drive (a library of files), not a physical device like you'd attach to your computer, which is where you'd say "urządzenie". Furthermore, Google Drive DOES allow actual device backups (shown in "Komputery" tab if I remember correctly), so "urządzenia" wrongly implies something closer to that than "Dyski". So this is an actual and real usability problem.
