SUMMARY
after system update on 2025-10-21 or -22 the appimages do not run. 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.updated to the 2025-10-21 or -22 system. My previously working appimages do not run. 

2. Rebooting to the previous 2025-10-16 state the appimages did work.
3.

appimages should not be infuenced by the system update

That's unfortunately a problem with appimages, not the system.
