SUMMARY
System does not store the current sound levels of the default output channel.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Left click the volume icon and make change to desired sound level. In my case 85% is the desired level.
2. Log out.
3. Log in and observe the current sound level by left clicking the volume icon.

OBSERVED RESULT
Sound level is reset to 41%.

EXPECTED RESULT

Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.14.0-33-generic
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0
Qt Version: 6.9.2

Comment 1 David R. Bergstein 2025-10-24 02:12:44 UTC
Expected result was missing above. This would be that the stored level of 85% was preserved.
