The bugfix linked above was merged to 5.3 and 5.2 branches, but for some reason it doesn't work in 5.2.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Download the latest 5.2 and 5.3 nightlies for Android as of today (October 20, 2025) and test the bugfix on both versions.
- Follow the "Test Plan" instructions in the above link. Notice that it works fine in 5.3, but not 5.2.

...Oh. Oops, I think I found out why. As of right now, the latest 5.2 nightly is dated October 16. I think no new nightlies were generated after the merge request. Nevermind, my mistake for not checking the nightly date.
