Drop down menus under many applications in Kubuntu 24.04 disappear immediately after opening. 
1. In Firefox it is impossible to use a drop down menu to save a password. 
2. In Libreoffice it is virtually impossible to use menus.

No possibility to use menus. Often there is no workaround.

I cannot reproduce this issue.

Please include:
- plasma version
- screenshot of some menus this happens to

Can you confirm if you have any active kwin scripts that could be affecting this.

Here is a screenshot of my system settings

Here are two screenshots of libreoffice, where the menu almost immediately
disappears (it is therefore hard to get a screenshot):
