Description Hans-Martin 2025-10-20 07:24:42 UTC
When starting a DVB recording, Kaffeine 2.0.19 immediately crashes with message “Speicherabzug wurde geschrieben” (“core dumped”).
The issue occurs both on Ubuntu 25.10 and Arch Linux, reproducible with any DVB-T2 source.
Downgrading to version 2.0.18 (+git20230226.439cd0d-1build2) resolves the issue.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Kaffeine
2. Select DVB-T2 channel
3. Click “Record”

OBSERVED RESULT
crashes, when started from terminal error message: core dumped

EXPECTED RESULT
Recording
