I had an old entry from 2023 that was zeroed and the balance was calculated in throwing the whole balance column off. This only showed up after update and deleting that entry fixed the problem. I really like this program and thank you. *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Please remove this comment after reading and before submitting - thanks! *** SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. Thanks for your complements to the team. Please note the first line of the template you filled in "If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org" which would have been a much better place for your comments. To your original problem, a transaction with a 0 amount really should not have thrown off the balance column, so I suspect the actual data in that transaction was not what you thought it was. You might have used the "Show Transaction Details" menu item to see the details of that transaction (you might still check using a backup of your data file) but since deleting the transaction solved the problem for you, it doesn't seem you need any further support for this.
