I have a 2.1TB USB stick and using the installed 'Start-up disk creator' on Kubuntu, I am able to create a new startup disk for either 25.04.and 25.10, however upon trying to boot from the USB, I receive several errors - (Startup disk creator - does not allow me to see the version of the software that I am using, however I am using Kubuntu 25.04) Error file to found. Error invalid magic number. Error you need to load the kernel first. Press any key to continue. I have tried using the Gnome equivalent, however this also fails, finally I tried ventoy - however this fails during the installation - I had to change boot style to GPT rather then MBR and also allocate 500GB at the end of the disk to successfully install. Working this through with Grok - it suggests that I file a bug to suggest GPT auto-handling for large drives. Thanks
Startup disk creator is not kde software. Best get in touch with kubuntu.
