SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Import or play an already existing .MOV file that is rotated to portrait (originally 1920x1080) into.

OBSERVED RESULT
Program crashes (freezes briefly with mouse turning into "working in background" symbol and then closes) when it happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
The video should actually play

There was an issue in MLT where videos with rotation crashed when HW acceleration was enabled. This is now fixed upstream:
