I've had the same issue on the latest version .I use kdenlive on ubuntu
I have this problem too. Using Version 25.08.3 on Ubuntu. Whenever I try to select the Keyframe interpulation - the button does not respond. Sometimes I press on a different clip and than go back and try again - sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't work.

Can you also share a screen recording?

Still, I cannot replicate this issue on Windows or Linux with standalone/appimage or installed/Flatpak. You are using Fedora. Did you install Kdenlive from their repositories/app store/SW Manager? If so, please try the appimage from the Kdenlive download page (https://kdenlive.org/download/).
