Description Andreas Gruenbacher 2002-11-22 15:46:37 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

The address book apparently doesn't save some addresses correctly: When I create a new entry:

	Full name = "Theodore T'so"
	File as = "Theodore T'so"
	Email = "tytso@mit.edu"

that entry appears as expected. When I then save the address book and afterwards check the card for tytso again, toe full name is blank, and the File As field still has the name. When I then click into the File As field, that entry's contents disappear, too.

(This doesn't happen with all names containing apostrophes.)

Wrong program. Anyway, it seems to work with KDE 3.1.
Comment 3 Tobias Koenig 2002-12-02 20:36:08 UTC
This bug is fixed in CVS HEAD (KDE3.1)
Comment 4 Tobias Koenig 2009-08-05 15:47:52 UTC
The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
