Description Martin Bammer 2002-11-22 14:47:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

It would be nice to be able to load Windowmaker Dock Apps into the greeter image area. e.g.: on my notebook wmapm is running when i'm not, logged in. wmapm controls the battery state and shuts my notebook down if battery is low...

the idea might be worth considering, but the logo area is no good place for that (even the clock is supposed to move to the desktop).
considering bug #17716, i think something looking remotely like windowmaker is the most probable solution.

seems clear that this is not going to happen as such. but i guess a plasmoid providing a dock area would work fairly well in conjunction with implementing bug 197581.
