SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Age of Empires II Definitive Edition on Steam in fullscreen mode -other modes not tested-
2. Attempt to alt tab and use the mouse in that other application
3. Or, a notification in the bottom right corner may come from the system while playing game - attempt to click on it, click fails.

OBSERVED RESULT

While in fullscreen mode, playing age of empires 2 definitive edition on steam, a popup appeared in the bottom right which I was unable to click on.  

I can Alt+Tab to other applications, but mouse input still pipes into steam overlay while aoe2de is running. I hit Alt+Enter and this is still true.

I am able to use the keyboard after alt tabbing in the switched app.

EXPECTED RESULT

I should be able to use the mouse after switching applications. I tried FTL game on steam and it worked as expected.
