Created attachment 185469 [details] screenshot of the discover app updates page showing update that will not install SUMMARY There is a KDE App Platform update 5.15-23.08 that is not installing/updating on my system. It has been in the updates list for a week or more now. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Click updates notification in the small icon tray near the clock 2. Select all updates available, or one at a time, and click Update (All) 3. All other apps install, this one does not OBSERVED RESULT After screen refresh, the abovementioned update remains on the screen as a pending update EXPECTED RESULT The update should install and disappear from the pending list SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: Yes KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is occurring on a Steam Deck
Thank you for the bug report! However Plasma 6.2.5 no longer receives updates or maintenance from KDE; active versions are 6.4 or newer. Please upgrade to an active version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. If you need help with Plasma 6.2.5, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing help for older releases that are no longer receiving updates from KDE. If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
