Created attachment 185427 [details] Screenshot of Empty Library SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Opened "Fonts Management" in "Text and Fonts" 2. Started deleting a couple of fonts I deemed unimportant that were cluttering space (foreign language Noto Family) in a bulk. Kept standard fonts. 3. Deletion progress has been stuck in the same place for 20 minutes. Attempted to cancel but failed. 4. Used task manager to force stop Fontist process. OBSERVED RESULT The Font Management page shows up without any fonts, yet the ones not deleted are still in the system (used KolourPaint to check). EXPECTED RESULT Cancel the process and return to previous state. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: CachyOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.18.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If the fonts are installed by your distro, deleting them like this can break packages. What happens if you reinstall the Noto Family fonts using distro package manager, and in terminal you run `fc-cache -rv`?
