My experience is that reducing the font from 11 to 10pt eliminated the behaviour, but only temporarily. Putting font back to 11pt didn't bring the behaviour back, but suspending overnight and testing again just now it's back.

Can confirm the bug happens, however we have a warning for very large fonts, which may cause weird results like this.

Operating System: Fedora Linux 42
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0
Qt Version: 6.9.2
Kernel Version: 6.16.8-200.fc42.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor
Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.5 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6600

As the warning says, large fonts are not well supported. Please use the scaling system in System Settings > Display & Monitor if you want to make stuff on the screen significantly bigger than it is. The global font size settings are really intended more for micro-adjustments and adapting to fonts that are noticeably larger or smaller than others at the same point size.

Well - I reported the issue on behalf of another member of the forum.

The font sizes were meant as examples.

Where is that warning ? It is not in the Settings Pane - perhaps you could add it ?

And the mentioned flicker does not occur in e.g. Desktop Effects pane

The bug title isn't correct. Increasing the font size was just a way to get the description texts shortened so there is a need for the tooltip. You can as well change the localisation to get longer descriptions (German might work).
