I'm not getting it. In the printer dialog there is an option to print a range of pages.

So this is no KMail issue but a general problem.
This may seem like a small issue, but it is a critical feature to anyone who gets long emails/posts. Bottom line: It affects far more users than anyone may realize within the KDE community.
