Description Desmond Deignan 2002-11-21 18:08:43 UTC
Version: 1.4 (using KDE 3.0.0)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB

The Button for "all pages" is the default and you cannot simply print a page or a a selected range
On E-mails we don not want to print the entire text but only relevant passage or page and we can't do that

I'm not getting it. In the printer dialog there is an option to print a
range of pages.

When printing to file the option to print a range of pages is disabled.
This is also the case when printing from Konqueror. So this is no KMail
issue but a general problem.

This may seem like a small issue, but it is a critical feature to anyone who gets long emails/posts.

Bottom line: It affects far more users than anyone may realize within the KDE community. Please help identify the group that can address this issue.

Please feel free to contact me directly. mpapet@yahoo.com

{Solved] Use Print Dialog Screen > Options. Print Range is visible even you printing to file

Closing as solved. Please open a wish for kmail2 product if you think it's still valid.
