Description Nathan Upchurch 2025-09-29 15:38:49 UTC
SUMMARY
I am working on a project with ~4 hours of footage, using the automatic subtitler to generate subtitles. The footage is almost entirely dialogue; I have generated subtitles for about half of the footage, and the timeline has slowed to the point that it's close to unusable.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a project with hundreds of subtitle clips

OBSERVED RESULT
Timeline suffers from extreme lag when moving, zooming, etc.

EXPECTED RESULT
Timeline remains performant.
