Since last version, when selecting a file in Project Bin, there's a freeze of some seconds.

Very frustrating

Thanks for your report. There are indeed some unexpected freezes due to an update of the Qt version in 25.08.1. Could you try installing the latest development build to see if the issue is fixed ?

I just tested the build from your link, and the bug is gone! Thank you :)
I'll wait un till the pitch bug is solved to update though since it hurts my usage of kdenlive https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=509873
