SUMMARY
Please see the video attached. When dragging the video or audio icons from the media viewer to add video/audio to the timeline, 1 in every 2 attempts nothing will happen. It seems it has trouble detecting that I'm intending to start the drag and drop procedure when pressing the icons.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select a clip from the media bin
2. Hover over the media bin viewer (the video and audio buttons will appear)
3. Drag the video or audio icon onto the timeline

OBSERVED RESULT
1/2 of the time it does not drag the clip onto the timeline, making it somewhat cumbersome to use.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should always drag and insert into the timeline right away.

I cannot reproduce in the just released Kdenlive 25.08.1. Could you please try the AppImage to check if it is fixed ?
