Description pollux/ned 2025-09-20 19:22:30 UTC
SUMMARY
Since the protocol is available in plasma 6.5 now and in firefox (i used nightly version just in case) i tried doing a youtube video in firefox, enable pip, opened a fullscreen game in xwayland and wine wayland just in case, pip window couldnt stay above the game, is this on purpose or is something missing?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use plasma 6.5 beta
2. play a youtube video in firefox
3. launch a video game like dirt rally 2.0 is what i used

OBSERVED RESULT
the pip window does not stay above any of the windows or fullscreen game

EXPECTED RESULT
it should stay above on every window
