Description Mert 2025-09-17 05:06:26 UTC
Hello KDE Team,

I am using AnyDesk 7.1.0 on Fedora Linux 42 (KDE Plasma Desktop Edition) with a Wayland session.
When I try to start AnyDesk, I receive the following error:

display_server_not_supported

Here are my system details:

Fedora version: 42 (KDE Plasma Desktop Edition)

Kernel: output of uname -a

Plasma version: output of plasmashell --version

Architecture: x86_64

AnyDesk version: 7.1.0

I understand that AnyDesk currently has limited support for Wayland.
It would be great if future versions could improve compatibility with Wayland sessions, as many KDE users run Wayland by default.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Mert Yakışan

I think you'll want to reach out to AnyDesk support. There's nothing we can do about misbehaving applications.
