Description Nicolas Goutte 2002-11-19 22:58:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

When entering a new bug, if you select to show the whole list of all applications, there is four times: "filters - KOffice Filters".
However the KWord's filter and KSpread's filter categories are not available.

I am wondering if the reason is that all these categories are directed to Ariya < aryia @ kde dot com >

Have a nice day/evening/night!

I think that I have found the reason.

The component is always called "filters" independent of the product name:
koffice, kword, kpresenter, kspread...

As koffice/filters was the first, its name is taken.

I have looked into the source code but cannot really find the problem.

Have a nice day/evening/night!

I tried to fix that some time ago, but I didn't succeed either. Once again,
Stephan Kulow is our last hope ;-)

Issues with reporting bugs should be fixed by the new bug reporting mechanism being implemented with the upgrade to Bugzilla 3.4.
Comment 7 Matt Rogers 2010-05-24 03:21:35 UTC
A new method of reporting bugs has been deployed to bugs.kde.org. It should address, in one way or another, some of the various issues around reporting bugs. This issue has been identified as being of those issues resolved by this particular round of changes and is being closed.

Please open a new bug if you have issues with the new way of reporting bugs.
