Created attachment 184899 [details] A picture of the notification header SUMMARY My notifications (the ones I've noticed this in is Vivaldi's notifications, from specifically Google Calendar and Google Messages, but it has happened with other things like Spectacle too) persist even after the bar goes to 0, and then clicking the X does not work the first time. My notification settings are set to "hide after". I've seen here (https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/tr6p6o/keep_the_notifications_popups_open_forever_until/) that it seems to be due to normal priority notifications; this makes sense, because some of mine auto-disappear but most do not. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Recieve a Google Calendar notification 2. Observe it not disappearing 3. Try to close it and fail OBSERVED RESULT The notification should close after five seconds and definitely should close the first time I click the X EXPECTED RESULT The notification does not close after five seconds and only closes the second time I click the X SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.12.41-1-MANJARO KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.6 (no updates available) KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is the Manjaro build built with KDE Plasma. No system updates are available. Notifications "hide after" is set to five seconds.
Thank you for the bug report! However Plasma 6.3.6 no longer receives updates or maintenance from KDE; active versions are 6.4 or newer. Please upgrade to an active version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. If you need help with Plasma 6.3.6, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing help for older releases that are no longer receiving updates from KDE. If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to an active version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
The dismissal on the X not working appears to be fixed, but some of the notifications still don't listen to the "Hide after" setting. plasmashell 6.5.0
