I installed KDE Linux version "202509031309" on an AMD laptop. After the installation, I received my first updates (system and multiple Flatpak packages), but Discover displayed a "protocol error." When I tried updating only the Flatpaks, it worked fine, and afterward, the system update also worked. The "protocol error" only occurs when I try updating both at the same time.
Thanks for using KDE Linux! "protocol error" generally means the update itself was bad in some capacity. I'm surprised that updating to it worked. Is it possible that a new image was posted between the time when you first tried it and it failed, and the second time when you tried it and it succeeded?
