Description postix 2025-09-09 11:06:06 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download https://archive.org/download/quicktime-3-sample-mov/Sample.mov
2. Open it in DragonPlayer
3. Play it
4. Pause it

OBSERVED RESULT
Once paused, it sounds like it repeatably plays back what it had lastly in its buffer, some very distorted short sound.

EXPECTED RESULT
DragonPlayer is silent.

This file is weird anyway, in VLC the pausing issue doesn't occur, but on playback the sound stream skips frames.

The sample file is taken from here: https://archive.org/details/quicktime-3-sample-mov

Can you still reproduce this? And if so, can you also reproduce this with the flatpak?
