Description Noctis 2025-09-09 09:48:08 UTC
SUMMARY
In an existing project, I was working on adding another audio channel and adding some audio clips. The next day, when I opened Kdenlive again with this project and tried to add a new audio channel, it crashed. No matter how many times I reopen Kdenlive, I am unable to open a new audio channel in this project. I can do so without any problems in a new project.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open an existing project
2. Try to create a new audio channel.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
It crashes directly.

EXPECTED RESULT
It should create a new audio channel.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Linux (New installation from September 2025)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0
Qt Version: 6.9.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'm using the Flatpak version.

I'm seeing that in 25.04 appimage version I can add a new audio channel without any issues. I don't see any revelant thing in the terminal running the flatpak version in 25.08.
