-- Information about the crash:
Hello there,

I am trying to be polite in this information about the crash. I was very much presented by KDE Crash Handler if I could go through the, previously similar bug list, and at least try to reduce the ambiguousness for this crash. Henceforth I have attached the image of the bug list, further below.

I will try to collate again by give the flollowing information:
A) I don't get the error every time I use "Spectacle", that said I would agree in advance if this is a "race condition" that was removed previously by a patch and has somehow not made to my computer/machine for some configuration, required for upgrade, but not "put in place" by me.
B) I don't I have NVidia graphics on my machine as it shows in lspci AMD/ATI alone, and I like working alone as well.
C) The kernel version that I have running is "6.14.0-29-generic".

The bug list image by sharing screenshot image using photos.google.com is as follows:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/oadV77ScYfVmdbcP6

Hope I am a good bug report and assist A.I. to properly resolve this bug. (I don't have the bug number as the filing process is not yet done.)

Thanks as well as Regards
[Dhirendra P. Singh]

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

Unfortunately, you do not have debug symbols installed, so there isn't much information that can be gathered from the backtrace (notice all the lines containing "in ???")

Could you please install debug symbols and attach a new symbolicated backtrace generated by using coredumpctl gdb in a terminal window? See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
Comment 2 Dhirendra Pal Singh 2025-09-15 08:00:45 UTC
This must be a miracle that I have this email with the bug info.

See, in reality, my laptop had frozen, and I was unable to file this bug. The process got hung, and after letting it run for 1 day in the hopes that this bug filing would be complete, I finally had to close the bug filing process, without getting any bug ID.

I am at shock and awe. Might I suggest that, please, close this bug, and when I get this problem again in future, I will try to refile and will attach the debug symbols for sure. If I can close this bug, I would do it gladly myself.

Tons of Thanks as well as Tons of Regards
Dhirendra

I was trying to take a screenshot. This is the first time I've hit this crash. I didn't have debug symbols installed either unfortunately.

I've installed qt5core debug symbols to hopefully capture more data if it happens again.
