It works for me. Can you try with an new updated version? Maybe try kpat from flathub? https://flathub.org/apps/org.kde.kpat

The friendly people from Tuxedo found out, that the problem lies with the freecell-solver. After "apt upgrade freecell-solver-bin" the solver works again!
