Just started doing this today
when entering new transaction payee not on list use tab it closes and adds payee but clears trans form so have to enter again. If have enter to  move to next fiels, Payee clears and moves to next field. Payee ia not added

I don't know why people open two tickets for the same bug. 1) It creates additional work for devs who are low on a time budget and 2) it's so annoying.
