SUMMARY
If you insert a Dynamic Text effect and then try to use a frame for the effect, the text disappears. This does not happen if you leave the effect applied to the whole clip.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add Dynamic Text effect
2. Set frame within clip

OBSERVED RESULT
Text disappears.

EXPECTED RESULT
Text should remain.
