SUMMARY

When the system decides to sleep it will require a password on wakeup.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install a fancy new os
2. reboot
3. fall asleep because you installed on a hdd 
4. wake up & PC too
5. lock screen with password request

OBSERVED RESULT
I don't know the password!

EXPECTED RESULT
No lock screen after sleep

New surprises from running on real hardware! Thanks, will have to look into bypassing the lockscreen for KISS.
