SUMMARY After running a system update on Nobara 42, Autostarts started not working at all, I can add them from the application list, but they don't actually run the application on startup. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Update system (preferably one pertaining a kernel upgrade) 2. Add an application to autostart list 3. Reboot OBSERVED RESULT Applications do not autostart EXPECTED RESULT Applications should start automatically SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Nobara Linux 42 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Wayland CPU: R7 5700X3D GPU: Sapphire Pulse RX 6600 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This issue also causes other bugs like "Switch User" button to hardlock and freeze the system without the ability to enter terminal interface. And result in "Log out", "Restart", "Shutdown" buttons to close apps, but not actually perform the final action (actually log out, restart, or shutdown).
I should also note that this happened to me twice, I ended up fixing it by creating another user account and deleting the old one. But it happened again now for a second time spontaneously after updating.
can you include the output of "journalctl --user -b" also please include a file that's in .config/autostart that should be autostarted
