SUMMARY I wanted to run a small python program, but it failed because the above mentioned module cannot be installed. I'd think that this python module is a rather basic one, why not include it? SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon User Edition KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.14.0-29-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 6 × AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.0 GiB usable) Graphics Processor 1: AMD Radeon Graphics Graphics Processor 2: AMD Radeon 550X Series Manufacturer: Acer Product Name: Aspire A515-44G System Version: V1.12 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
hi, yes it is a small python module but no kde apps/libs actively use it so it is not a priority for neon to package. rather a bug should be filed upstream against ubuntu and/or debian for them to package it and neon will the automatically have access to it.
