Description kderocks38 2025-08-25 09:55:34 UTC
Hi,

Sorry if this should be classified as feature request but it looks just so strange for a text editor not to have the "select all" option when right clicking inside a document.

Version 25.04.0 on plasma 6.3.4 kde, fedora 41

We have already 'too many' entries there and select all has a very prominent shortcut.

(nor is it really that contextual, as it selects the full document)

Sorry that you miss that, but we will not add that.

Can't have it all, Kwrite is great already, and even if I work a lot with the mouse only for copy paste, I've just found out about alt A which is more ergonomic than CTRL A, actually now I should contact other software providers to replace CTRL A to ALT A which I like more :)

Thank you for you reply anyway, keep it up with the nice Kwrite work.

P.S : your shift+mouse scroll to speed up scroll idea is great !
