SUMMARY
Every edit made to text in the file search field moves the text cursor to the end of the text.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the search bar.
2. Enter some text.
3. Move the cursor back to anywhere but the end of the text.
4. Delete or add a character.

OBSERVED RESULT
The text cursor is immediately moved to the end of the text.

EXPECTED RESULT
The text cursor stays where it is, only moving ahead of a newly inserted character.
