Created attachment 184397 [details] Setting a name for a partition in Dolphin SUMMARY Firefox should use the names of the partitions that are defined by the user in Dolphin. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set a name for a partition in Dolphin (see the attached screenshot) 2. In Firefox (I guess this is the same on other webbrowsers), click right on a HTML page and select "Save as...". 3. OBSERVED RESULT A download popup shows up and ask you where you want to save your file. The partition names on the left side are different from the ones defined in Dolphin. Firefox uses the default partition names, not the user-defined names. EXPECTED RESULT It would be nice to have the same partition name in Dolphin and webbrowsers. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Mageia 9 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.114.0 Qt Version: 5.15.7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If you read French, this forum post (https://www.mageialinux-online.org/forum/topic-32142.php) gives a bit more explanation

That's KFilePlaces in KIO, re-assigning
The second screenshot depicts the GTK/GNOME dialog, which of course as a KDE person I find decidedly inferior to the KDE one, and I guess you agree :) KDE doesn't have control over GTK or Firefox, so I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about this. If you run Firefox in a Flatpak, then it will be forced to use KDE's dialog, so that's a potential workaround.
