The color adjustment settings in Skanlite do not update in realtime on the canvas, which makes this feature kinda unusable. Currently you have to take a new scanning preview every time you want to adjust colors and wait a few seconds for it to finish.

A live updating preview canvas regarding changes in „Image Intensity“ section of „Advanced Options“ would be really useful. I would really appreciate it if this could be implemented.

Thanks for the feature request!

The current color adjustments are all done in the drivers or the actual hardware. If Skanlite/Skanpage would do adjustments in the preview, the actual final results might be quite different from the preview. Especially the brightness, that can be adjusted with the light-source of the scanner, can have very unpredictable results. To not give fake/wrong impressions, this has intentionally not been implemented.

Sorry,
  Kåre
