Created attachment 184349 [details] Annotation icons are very small SUMMARY Whenever I annotate on an image, then I always have to go very close to the screen to actually see the icons and know what is what. It feels a bit too small in my opinion. It might just be a bug and should be bigger. See attached screenshot. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Plug in a 1080p 27" Monitor 2. Set Scale to 50% 3. Set Font Size to 23pt 4. Go to Gwenview 5. Open an image 6. Annotate it 7. Look at how small the icons are SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: CachyOS Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.16.2-2-cachyos (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics Memory: 64 GiB of RAM (62.1 GiB usable) Graphics Processor 1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU Graphics Processor 2: AMD Radeon 780M Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
After speaking with Nate, I'm afraid we'll have to close the bugs related to issues with 50% display scaling. As he mentioned in bug 508595, Plasma isn't designed to support this and it would be a large amount of work to change that.
