Hi Jean Claude,

What INDI drivers did you try to run? I have been trying to get the DMG built for the past several months so I have not been able to test the build until we just got it to build a few days ago. I discovered in testing it yesterday, that several drivers from 3rd Party are missing, the 3rd Party drivers that currently do not yet support arm64/Apple Silicon. These drivers should certainly have been included in the Intel build, but I think I figured out why it did not build them, it was due to an environment variable being set differently on the CI server that built the DMG vs on my machine. I made a correction that should allow it to build those other drivers during Intel builds correctly in the future, but it might take a few days before Jasem can get it to build. The drivers that should be missing are: ZWO, SBIG, QHY, and drivers based on the Toupbase library

Hi Rob,
The drivers I am using are :
indi_celestron_gps
indi_maxdomeii
indi_microtouch_focus
indi_sqm_weather
indi_pegasus_ppba
indi_asi_ccd
There is only one dmg that can be downloaded : kstars-3.7.8.dmg
As I said in my first report, that dmg made a big mess on my Intel Mac and I couldn't even run previous Versions of KStars.
In my first report I attached the logs created on my MacBookPro M4

Hi Jean Claude,

Today we built a brand new DMG which should have several fixes including your missing ASI Driver that caused the issue when you tried to start up your indi drivers. For the other issue you mentioned with launching previous versions of KStars, I would bet that has something to do with your data directory ~/Library/Application Support/kstars or your preferences file ~/Library/Preferences/kstarsrc I don't know if anything changed with any of the data files or preferences in 3.7.8, but those are the files that would be most likely to affect another KStars.

I would try the new DMG and if you have problems with KStars, maybe try deleting those two items and see if that helps.

Hi Rob,
Nice work and everything seems to connect as it should on my MacBookPro M4.
I noted :
- Changes in the dmg size : 232.9MB (previous dmg378) ––> 296.8 MB (current dmg378)
- The new dmg378 still doesn’t install on an Intel Mac . It doesn't matter much for me .
Thanks to all KStars developers again for providing this superb and so powerful software.
