Description Christopher Smith 2025-08-16 22:11:23 UTC
SUMMARY
Currently, zooming into the desktop using the scroll gesture (typically Meta+Control) always uses scroll wheel steps, regardless of scrolling method (trackpad or mouse scroll wheel). This generally makes the zooming feel less responsive or have unexpected behavior (e.g. faster trackpad scroll = less zoom, as it seems like less wheel inputs are sent)

OBSERVED RESULT
Trackpad treated as a mouse scroll wheel with the Zoom effect

EXPECTED RESULT
1:1 trackpad scroll (maybe accelerated too?)
