MR https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/merge_requests/1583 added a preview banner to development builds. It would be nice if this banner would also include the build date. When testing different git-build-based live ISO images (e.g. https://neon.kde.org, https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Argon_and_Krypton), it would help make sure that one is actually using a build that has a particular fix included. Even better would be to have all about widgets include the git commit hash.
But how would this deal with a system where different components were built on different days? E.g. a developer's setup where they are manually building the repositories they're working on?

It also could function as a reminder when you last built plasma-desktop. For OS images the build time should be consistent for all components.
