Created attachment 184123 [details] demonstration (from 0:00-0:18 specifically) SUMMARY The Create New Folder dialog does not accurately show what the name of the file is actually going to be. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Copy some text that contains a newline. 2. In dolphin, create a new folder with this text as the name. OBSERVED RESULT In the Create New Folder dialog, the newline is replaced with a space. However, in the normal view of dolphin, the newline is replaced with a symbolic "return" character. EXPECTED RESULT For the Create New Folder dialog to accurately show what the name of the file is actually going to be. I'm not sure whether dolphin has figured out whether it deems newlines in filenames to be acceptable, and I don't really have an opinion on that. My user experience for this is that I wanted to remove the newline and replace it with a space, and that appeared to be done automatically in the Create New Folder dialog. However, that was not the case and it was a misleading UI interaction.
