I use KDE Plasma Neon everyday, today after the 1 GB new system update file my laptop (Huawei MateBook X Pro) gave a "purple" kernel panic screen, after reboots the purple screen keeps teturning: error: "VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (0,0)"

The error means grub can't find the root partition and the initramfs of your kernel needs to be regenerated.
