SUMMARY
gwenview causes huge memory leak and "Memory shortage avoided" notification when viewing the attached .jpg file. The file is a screenshot taken with Kate.

EXPECTED RESULT
no memory leak

Cannot reproduce on Fedora (slightly older versions though).

I have both tried opening it via GUI, as well as terminal, both worked and showed no problems. Did this just arise from opening the file via GUI? 

Can anyone else chime in and check with the newer beta versions?
