Created attachment 183868 [details] Hovering over the location of desktop 5 says that it's actually 6. SUMMARY The location of desktops 5 and 6 is swapped in the pager. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have over 6 desktops 2. 5 is in the place of 6 and vice-versa SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.15.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.5 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It only happens for desktops 5 and 6 after the 6.4.4 update. I have tested only up until 8 desktops, but it only seems that 5 and 6 get swapped. I have only noticed this after the 6.4.4 update, but I'm certain that it didn't happen before. Also, the actual location of desktops 5 and 6 is in the correct place; they are swapped only in the pager.
FWIW I don't see any relevant commits that went into 6.4.4 which could have caused this: https://kde.org/announcements/changelogs/plasma/6/6.4.3-6.4.4 The timing may be a coincidence.
I'm sorry we weren't able to look further into this yet. I'm not currently able to reproduce this with Plasma built from git-master Is this still happening on 6.4.5? If it is, can you reproduce it with a brand new user?

I was able to find a way to reliably reproduce this. You have to open the desktop grid (I think that this is what it is called, but it is the big one that shows all desktops side-by-side) and swap the position of an entire desktop with another one.
