Description shell-hamster-trio 2025-08-07 13:47:01 UTC
SUMMARY

I have the System monitor open at all times to quickly glance at the CPUs temperature. Thus, I have changed the _overview_ layout to also include the CPUs temperature, the Process Table, plus the default three "speedometer" looking indicators (RAM, CPU, and disk use). After a force restart, some of the rows disappear.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Modify the layout of the Overview in the System Monitor and save the changes.
2. Without closing the System Monitor, force restart Kubuntu.
3. When Kubuntu starts again, the layout has changed.

OBSERVED RESULT

The layout has changed.

EXPECTED RESULT

The overview layout should remain as I had personalized it.

Thanks for the bug report!

However, Plasma 5.27.11 no longer receives updates or maintenance from KDE; active versions are 6.4.3 or newer. Please upgrade to an active version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.

If you need support for Plasma 5.27.11, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing help for older releases that are no longer receiving updates from KDE.

If this issue is still reproducible in Plasma 6.4.3 (the latest released version), feel free to re-open this bug report.

Thanks for understanding.
